Remote cobols failing with error message text not found

Remote Cobols failing with below errors.

198 error message text not found

Possibile reasons :

1) Not applied the patches correclty
2) Issues with compiled cobols

Possible solutions:

1) test the remote cobol call thru PeopleTools > Utilities > Test Utilities.If this works then setup to run the remote cobol is correct.
2) set the rccbl redirect to 1 and run the program . Log will get created on the app server logs. You can review
3) Recompile all cobols.
